People & technology.
What is Carezapp?
A support system that is enabled by technology commonly known as the Internet of Things (IoT), carezapp’s connected devices and sensors gather relevant data to produce meaningful (and potentially lifesaving) alerts, notifications, and insights.
The carezapp platform enables those working in a care setting to remotely monitor and review, in real-time, the daily living activities and health & wellbeing of the people they support.
Carezapp vs Prioto
DVI Technologies has developed a range of smart building solutions that are deployed within many care sector settings. Our Prioto solutions also use IoT technology and are designed to optimise building performance.
Where facility and building managers use Prioto to achieve carbon reduction targets, save money, and improve the conditions of those occupying the building, carezapp can transform how care and support are delivered within those buildings.
Carezapp is ideal for:
- Care homes
- Assisted living
- Community day centres
- Social housing
- Residential homes
Owing to our knowledge and expertise - not to mention our personal respect for the work of carers – DVI is proud to be appointed Managed Services Partner for Carezapp.
Smarter care & support
Carezapp connects the whole care and support network through one, easy-to-use platform.
- Family, friends, and neighbours
- Care managers and caregivers
- Support workers
- Social and care organisations
- Other home care providers
Carezapp’s simple, secure communication and collaboration tools enable typically disjointed groups to work together.
- Chat messages & video
- Voice calls
- Wellness checks
Using non-contact sensors and devices, Carezapp turns real-time data into meaningful notifications, alerts, and insights.
- Motion and activity monitoring
- Windows, doors, cupboards, fridge, etc.
- Bed/chair occupancy
- Call button for assistance
- Room temperatures
- Smoke, carbon monoxide, and flood detection
Gathering data through Carezapp enables care workers to better support the wellbeing and safety needs of those in their care.
- Vital signs (heart and breathing rates)
- Enuresis (incontinence)
- Epilepsy, dementia, and more…
- Supports person-centred care in a holistic and integrated way
Focussing on wellbeing, prevention, and promotion of continued independence, carezapp empowers more positive outcomes and affordable care.
- Improves wellbeing
carezapp connects people using technology - reducing social isolation and delivering a supported environment. Integrated video enables face-to-face calling between the supported person, care staff, and family. Those responsible for care delivery can prioritise and visually check without the need for a physical visit.
- Real-time insights into daily activities of care subjects
carezapp produces meaningful and personalised alerts, notifications, and insights on a 24/7 year-round basis - empowering a care and support network to identify proactive interventions that can make a positive difference. For example, carers or loved ones will be alerted if the supported person fails to get out of bed and move around the room in the usual, predicted manner.
- Optimised care and support
Mobility - the carezapp companion app - works in conjunction with the carezapp platform to provide mobile alerts and notifications, communications, and a dashboard into a person’s wellbeing.
